FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Is FoxStream affiliated with Roku, Amazon, Apple or Google?

No. FoxStream is an independent publisher. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Roku, Amazon, Apple, Google, NVIDIA, Walmart (onn), Comcast/Xfinity or any other brand we cover. Brand names are used only to describe the products we write about.

Can FoxStream fix my device or walk me through setup on the phone?

No. We publish written guides and reviews — we don't provide remote technical support, repair, or account recovery. For hands-on help with a specific device, use the manufacturer's official support channel; our troubleshooting articles link to them where relevant.

Why don't you show prices on product pages?

Prices change constantly, and a stale price is worse than no price. Every product box links to the current Amazon listing so you always see today's price, today's availability, and today's variants.

Do I have to pay to activate a Roku, Fire TV, or onn device?

No. Activation of every major streaming device is free, done through the manufacturer's own website or app. Any website or phone number charging an 'activation fee' is a scam — our setup guides call this out wherever it applies.

How does FoxStream make money?

Through Amazon affiliate commissions. When you buy through one of our product links, Amazon pays us a small commission at no extra cost to you. Our editorial policy explains how this stays separate from our recommendations.

A guide didn't fix my problem. What now?

If you worked through every step, the issue is likely hardware or account-related — both are the manufacturer's territory. Each troubleshooting article ends with a 'when to contact the manufacturer' section pointing you to official support.

Do you collect my personal data when I browse?

No. FoxStream uses no analytics, no tracking pixels, and no advertising cookies. The only personal data we handle is what you type into the contact form, and our privacy policy explains exactly how it's used.

Can I suggest a guide or product to cover?

Yes — suggestions are welcome through the contact page. Reader requests directly shape our publishing schedule.
